Valve and flash manifold

Postby Fasteddie » Thu Mar 30, 2017 6:12 pm

I thought I would share this with you
Since I had to rebuild my rig I decided to keep all the electronics away from the solenoids.
So I built a simple circuit to take the pulses from the CA sensor ports and switch them to 12V pulses for the solenoids. The four individual circuits were simple, Transistor, Resistor, and Diode. I added another 12v port for draining the solenoids via a button. For good measure I added a 5v regulator and with an optoisolator and some resistors it was a multiflash. The flash trigger is from a CA flash port but it can be anything that shorts the input. It does not look much but it works a charm

Nice. Thanks for sharing. I plan to make the next version of the valve sensor be more like this.

Thank you Maurice

Is there any timeframe on the next generation of Camera Axe and will it support more than four solenoids?

Im sure Maurice has ideas going around in his head, but nothing concrete happening at the moment.
If the world is a roundabout, no wonder I am always in a spin. Cheers Ernie
