Projectile Sensor (use it as Arduino Sensor)

Postby Haider92 » Fri Feb 14, 2014 2:44 am

Hi every one

i want to make a Bullet speed device
but the problem is with the sensor
if i use photoresistor there will be a lots of delay time and this is not good for accuracy
but finally i find this after long time of search in google

Projectile Sensor :o (its very accuracy)

but the question is :?:

i want to make the arduino board (UNO or MEGA)

Read the signal from sensor and calculate the speed of bullet

is it possible :?:

i mean i don't want to use Camera Axe 5 and this shield :(

The Camera Axe software does this. The Camera Axe runs on Atmel328 with the Arduino D bootloader. So all you need to do is copy the right code. The camera axe code is at: http://www.cameraaxe.com/programming/

You might want to move this to the Camera Axe forums. There is much more activity there and this is Camera Axe related.

sir i understand from what you say

i can connect the Projectile Sensor directly to Arduino Board Whit out need the Camera Axe 5 Shield

and another question

why use
LTV-847 Optoisolator (Left)74hc4050 Buffer Chip (Right)
in Camera Axe 5 Shield

for anything these chips used

thank you very much

my regards

It acts as an isolation switch. Feel free to substitute a different transistor based switch that meets your requirements.
